On December 6, First Friday, many Catholics are offering a day of fasting, Prayer and Reparation for the sins committed by laity and clergy in the Catholic Church.
The recent worship of idols, right within the Vatican, the crimes against children by priests and bishops, the sexual harassment of their own seminarians by some bishops, all manifest the presence of the demonic in the Church.
Jesus Christ himself told the apostles “Some demons can only be cast out by prayer and fasting.”
This Friday, join Catholics around the world in asking God’s help in purifying His Church in any or all of these ways:
1) Pray the Rosary and/or the Divine Mercy Chaplet.
2) Take on some form of penance, such as fasting, abstinence, or some other form of self-denial.
3) Attend Mass! We have Masses at 7 & 9 AM.
4) Pray a Holy Hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament.
